Forsøl is one of the areas of Finnmark that is richest in cultural monuments. There are traces of settlements in several places, dating from the early Stone Age to the Middle Ages, and there are signs that there were churches in Kirkegårdsnes as early as before the Reformation. In several places there are paths, information plaques and places suitable for barbecuing.      <
